Founder's Message

As both an educator and a parent, I have personally experienced how challenging it can be to support children in maintaining their Chinese language and cultural connection.

When my children were young, I went to great lengths to find a Chinese preschool for them. As they grew older, I realized that continuing their Chinese learning journey—and preserving the language at home—became even more difficult. Without the right environment and support, it is easy for children to lose the language, and sometimes even create tension within the family.

This experience deeply shaped my understanding and inspired me to create Concord Chinese School.

I wanted to build a place where children can learn Chinese in a natural, joyful, and supportive environment—without pressure, and without conflict at home. A place where language learning becomes a shared positive experience, rather than a struggle.

At Concord Chinese School, we believe that language is not just a subject, but a bridge—to culture, to identity, and to family connection. Through engaging classes and meaningful interaction, we help children not only learn Chinese, but also feel confident, connected, and proud.

My hope is that every family can experience the joy of bilingual growth, and every child can carry their language and culture with confidence into the future.

作为一名教育者，同时也是一位母亲，我深刻体会到，在海外环境中帮助孩子保持中文与文化连接是一件多么不容易的事情。

在孩子还小的时候，我曾经为了给他们找到一个合适的中文幼儿园煞费苦心。而当孩子慢慢长大后，我却发现，让他们持续学习中文、真正保留中文变得更加困难。如果没有合适的环境与支持，一不留神，语言的流失不仅影响学习，甚至还可能影响家庭之间的沟通与关系。

正是这样的经历，让我创办了 Concord Chinese School。

我希望打造一个让孩子可以在自然、轻松、有支持的环境中学习中文的地方，不需要压力，

也不会成为家庭中的矛盾来源。让语言学习变成一件快乐的事情，而不是负担。

在这里，我们相信语言不仅是一门学科，更是一座桥梁——连接文化、身份认同与家庭关系。通过有温度的课堂与真实的互动体验，我们帮助孩子不仅学会中文，更建立自信、归属感与自豪感。

我希望，每一个家庭都可以享受到双语成长的美好，每一个孩子都能自信地带着语言与文化走向未来。
